Dear Charlie,

Things are really busy here at the North Pole. Christmas is going to be here before we know it! I can’t wait… On Christmas Eve, I’m coming to your house with a few surprises! Sorry you have to be in bed and asleep before I can come, but that’s the rule.

Did you know that Santa has a list of all the boys and girls in the world? I check that list twice to find out who has been naughty or nice. Well, it looks like you have been a pretty nice boy! In fact, I heard that you are really good at hitting a baseball and that you are a very fast runner. Congratulations Charlie! I also heard that you are doing your best in school so far this year. Santa is very proud of you. And I sincerely hope that you will keep studying hard. What you are learning now will be very important to you when you grow up. Santa can already see that when you get older you are going to be a man who does great things in his life.

It looks like this next year is going to be a special one for you and Aidan and especially Braxton. Never forget that good friends are hard to come by. Treat them the way you would like them to treat you!

Before I forget, all the Elves told me to say “Hi” to you and Sam! They have done an amazing job this year and have some great presents! I will be sure you get something you have wished for!

Keep up the good work Charlie! I hope that you will always remember how
special you are to your family and me. Also, I hope you will always remember
what Christmas is really about. It’s a celebration of that most special day
about 2000 years ago, when God was born as a baby boy. That baby boy’s
name was Jesus… and he grew up to be the savior of the world! Christmas
is His birthday … and He was and IS the best present anyone could receive.

Well Charlie, I’ve got to get back to the workshop as we make our last minute
plans. The North Pole is totally lit up with Christmas lights and I have to go get
my sleigh out of the shop after another 50 million mile checkup. Oh, by the
way, try to leave some carrots out for my reindeers on Christmas Eve…
and don’t worry about leaving cookies for me. I’m trying to lose weight.
HO HO HO!

Be sure to say hi to Brownie, Noah and Gilles for me!
… And MERRY CHRISTMAS Charlie!

Your friend,
